The dental news portal ZWP online has existed since 2008 and is operated by Oemus Media AG ( original spelling OEMUS MEDIA AG ). Since September 1, 2010, the portal has also been available for Switzerland and Austria with regionally coordinated news, publications and events. For 2015, the portal had a total of more than 2.5 million visits and almost 5.2 million page views.

In addition, ZWP provides information online in the event area of the site about trade fairs , congresses , meetings and training opportunities . In addition to general dental news, information is provided on the topics of implantology , cosmetic dentistry , laser dentistry , endodontology , oral surgery , periodontology , dental hygiene , orthodontics , dental technology and digital dentistry. Since 2014, the portal has also offered the interdisciplinary Aesthetics section , in which specialist articles and news on aesthetic medicine topics are also available outside of dentistry. The website also provides an overview of the various chambers , KZVs , professional associations and specialist societies as well as institutions for training and further education such as universities , master schools , training centers and e-learning . When imedo GmbH searches for a doctor on ZWP online , practicing dentists are listed free of charge with a standard profile of their own practice and can be rated by patients. The portal has been offering a job exchange for dental staff since 2015, where job offers can be searched for and placed. The portal is regularly relaunched, for example in April 2011 and at IDS in March 2013.
