Number and die (original title: Be bounty killers per una strage ) is a spaghetti westerns of Franco Lattanzi , who is counted among the worst films of the genre because of its amateurism. The German-language premiere was on video.
action
A gang ambushes a battalion of soldiers after targeting the governor's family. By kidnapping them, the criminal “Irishman” wants to secure rule over Abilene, which is populated by mostly shady characters. The governor then hires six bounty hunters to kill the gang.
criticism
The "unspeakably amateurish" film was made by Christian Keßler a . a. ironically outlined as follows: the stunt people “try to sail as crooked as possible through the area”, the snipers “have never fired a weapon”, the actors “can smoke better than play”. Numerous connection errors and absurd scenes result in “a bitter omelette”, the film is “terribly bad”.
Remarks
Apart from its release on a German video cassette, the film can hardly be found. It is also not listed in the “Archivio del Cinema Italiano”.
The leading actor, Robert Woods, can only be seen in a few scenes.
The draft for the movie poster comes from Giuseppe Ascari.
