history

Pillmannsberg (also: Hof auf dem Pyhelsberg, Püchelsberg) was first mentioned in writing in 1466 as it was located in the Wenzenbach parish in connection with the foundation of an early mass by Parsifal Zenger. Urban Zenger received Pillmannsberg in 1498, which then became part of Hofmark Adlmannstein. In 1473 and 1715 it was recorded as a farm authorized for forestry. In 1588 it was still part of the Hofmark Adlmannstein, from 1610 it belonged to the Regenstauf court.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Pillmannsberg belonged to the Pettenreuth parish with 3 houses and 27 residents. On December 31, 1990 Pillmannsberg had 14 Catholic residents and belonged to the parish of Bernhardswald.
