history

Dingstetten was first mentioned in writing in 1521. A farm in Dingstetten belonged to the Donaustauf regional court and belonged to the Reichenbach monastery belonging to the Langfeld provost .

In the 17th century the place became the property of the Walderbach monastery . Another farm in Dingstetten belonged to Castle Kürn in 1599 with validity and bailiwick . In 1599, the Straubing Rent Office held the High Authority . In 1606 the Paulsdorfferischen heirs were the landlords of this farm. Johann Bernhard von Stingelheim was its owner in 1676. In 1680 he sold the farm to Georg Konrad Freiherr von Lerchenfeld in Munich, which meant that the farm belonged to Unterbrennberg . The St. Mang monastery in Stadtamhof owned 2/3 of the great and minor tenth, the remaining third went to the parish of Wenzenbach .

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Dingstetten belonged to the Wenzenbach parish with 3 houses and 24 residents.

On December 31, 1990, Dingstetten had 21 Catholic residents and belonged to the Bernhardswald parish.
