Alexander "Zander" Clark (born June 26, 1992 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football goalkeeper who is under contract with FC St. Johnstone .

Career

Zander Clark began his career in his native Glasgow, where he played for the Rangers and their arch-rivals Celtic . Until 2008 he then played for the Hamilton Academical, about 20 km away . When he played in the U17 he suffered a serious injury, after which his contract with the Accies was terminated.

After half a year without a club, he went to the U20 of FC St. Johnstone . The goalkeeper was loaned to Scottish fourth division Elgin City immediately after signing his contract . In the 2011/12 season he completed a total of 33 league games. He saw the red card in the games against FC Peterhead in January 2012 and against Alloa Athletic in April of the same year . With Elgin he was fourth and reached the promotion play-offs. The team was defeated by the Albion Rovers .

From October 2013 to June 2014 it was awarded to Queen of the South . For the second division he made 57 league appearances in two seasons. He finished fourth with the team twice. In the promotion relegation they lost against FC Falkirk in 2014 and against Glasgow Rangers in 2015.

From the 2016/17 season he was able to fight for a regular place at his home club from Perth .
