Zayn du Plessis (born July 12, 1979 ) is a South African ice hockey player who has played for the Vipers Johannesburg in the Gauteng Provincial Hockey League since 2011 .
Career
Zayn du Plessis first played for the Pretoria Warriors . In 2011 he moved to the Vipers Johannesburg , for whom he has since been active in the Gauteng Provincial Hockey League , one of the regional ice hockey leagues whose winners play the South African championship title.
International
For South Africa du Plessis took part in the D-World Championships in 1998 , 1999 and 2000 , the world championships of Division II in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2004 and 2012 and Division III in 2005 and 2013 , when he was captain of the Springboks .
