The journal for parliamentary questions ( ZParl ) is an interdisciplinary specialist journal founded in 1969 and published four times a year since 1970 . The thematic focus is on developments in the German Bundestag , in the parliaments of the German states and international parliaments. The topics are examined from a political-scientific , legal and sociological point of view, occasionally there are also contributions to parliamentary history that go back to the time of the Reichstag of the Imperial Era and the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic .
The founding of the magazine in 1969 was “an explicit reaction to the extra-parliamentary and anti-parliamentary thrust [...] as it was represented from now on in SoPo and PROKLA ” - both magazines that were also taken from the magazine “Der Politologe “Emerged.
The ZParl is published by the German Association for Parliamentary Issues e. V. (DVParl); it was published from 1969 to 2003 by Westdeutscher Verlag and from 2004 to 2006 by VS Verlag für Sozialwissenschaften . ZParl has been published by Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft in Baden-Baden since 2007 . The international character is underlined by the fact that, according to the editorial imprint, there are coordinators for Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
