The Zinsbachtal landscape protection area is a protected landscape area (LSG number 2.37.027) in the area of ​​the municipalities of Pfalzgrafenweiler and Wörnersberg , which was designated by the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the Freudenstadt District Office of December 15, 1980 .

Location and description

The Zinsbachtal is a valley in the red sandstone of the northern Black Forest . The protected area covers the western part of the Zinsbach valley. It begins shortly after the source of the Zinsbach below Kälberbronn and ends at the Zinsbachmühle ( ). The eastern part of the valley up to the confluence of the Zinsbach in the Nagold belongs to the scope of the Nagoldtal landscape protection area .

Protection purpose

According to the Protection Area Ordinance, the essential protection purpose is

  • Preservation of the natural valley with its connected meadow meadows on both sides of the Zinsbach with its natural bank vegetation.
  • Securing a landscape typical of the northern Black Forest for the people looking for relaxation.
