Zwexies - Die Zwillingshexen (Original title: Twitches ) is a Disney Channel Original Movie from 2005 . The film premiere on the American Disney Channel took place on October 14, 2005. The first broadcast saw over 5 million viewers. The German first broadcast was on April 24, 2006. The film was broadcast on free TV on May 28, 2007 on ProSieben .
The story is based on the book "Die magischen Hexenzwininge" (Original T * Witches) .

The twins Alex and Camryn are separated when they are born. Her father sends her to earth from his magical kingdom of Coventry to protect her from the evil forces of darkness. Only on their 21st birthday do the sisters find each other again and gradually discover their magical abilities. As they search for their birth mother, they must realize that they are the only ones who can save their kingdom from ruin.
