Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious is an American reality television series on The CW network. It is a talent based show, in which young aspiring female singers/dancers compete in order to claim their spots to become the group "Girlicious". Girlicious is the creation of Robin Antin, creator of The Pussycat Dolls, who in the first season was searching for The Next Doll, but is now searching for an entirely new pop group by the name Girlicious. Girlicious, unlike the Pussycat Dolls, will be a more urbanized all female trio. This is the format for the second season of the Pussycat Dolls Present series, focusing mostly on female dancers/singers, looking for fame in the music industry. It premiered on Monday, February 18, 2008[1]. This season will features 15 talented young women competing for the 3 slots open. The contestants, as named by producers, are: Alexis Pelekanos, Carrie Jones, Cassandra Porter, Charlotte Benesch, Charlye Nichols, Chrystina Sayers, Ilisa Juried, Jamie Ruiz, Jenna Artzer, Keisha Henry, Kristin, Megan Dupre, Natalie Mejia, Nichole Cordova and Tiffanie Anderson. As for Girlicious the group, that album is nearly done, and a single will be released immediately following the TV show's April 21 finale. Barring any last-minute changes, the Girlicious debut opens with a guest shot from rapper of the moment Flo Rida, who currently has two songs in the Top 40 on the U.S. pop chart.[2]
