Cyia Batten
Cyia Batten (born January 26, 1972 in Locust Valley , New York ) is an American actress , dancer and model.
Life
Batten worked as a professional dancer for various projects, such as the Pussycat Dolls, and also performed at the Teatro Comunale di Firenze .
She had her first television appearance in 1995 in the series Foxy Fantasies . In the Star Trek universe, she played as the first of three actresses Gul Dukat's daughter Tora Ziyal in two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1995–1996) and Irina in Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager episode The Race (2000) and the Orion Navaar in The Connection of the series Star Trek: Enterprise (2005). She played other guest roles in television series such as Pretender (1997), Profiler (1999), X-Factor: Das Unfassbare (2000), Nash Bridges (2000), Die Einsamen Schützen (2001), CSI: Den perpern auf der Spur (2003 ), Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006–2007) and Nip / Tuck - Beauty Has Its Price (2009).
She had her first film appearance in 1995 in Das Zeitexperiment . Other films she starred in include Out of Control - Dangerous Desires (1997), At Any Cost (2000), Cookers (2001), American Crime (2004), The Glass House 2 (2006), Suspect (2007), Charlie Wilson's War (2007) and Killer Movie (2008).
In 2005 she won the Festival Trophy Award for Best Actress at Screamfest for her role in Cookers , in which she plays a prostitute addicted to crystal meth . She is also known as a model and for her own jewelry brand T. Cyia, which she owns with Tim McElwee. She also has a son with him.
