Kolbasov is a village and municipality in Snina District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1548. A number of Jews was murdered here in December 1945, which is known as the Kolbasov tragedy.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 312 metres and covers an area of 15.965 km². It has a population of about 110 people.
