Bound for Glory IV was the fourth annual Bound for Glory professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by American professional wrestling promotion, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It took place on October 12, 2008 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Tickets went on sale for the event August 1, 2008.[3] This was TNA's first PPV to be referred to in Roman Numerals instead of by year. A fan interaction event took place the day prior to the PPV.[3]
The event featured the return of Jeff Jarrett to in-ring action after a year and a half hiatus, and wrestled and won against Kurt Angle with Mick Foley as the special enforcer. The main event was Samoa Joe defending his [[TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Sting with Sting as the winner.
