From 1966–1968 she had played various characters in the influential Australian satirical sketch comedy program ''[[The Mavis Bramston Show]]''. One of her characters was Mavis Bramston - the joke being that Mavis appeared in only the opening segment of each episode and was not seen again thereafter. She was also a semi regular regular in the popular 1980s [[sitcom]] ''[[Kingswood Country]]'', playing Merle Bulpitt.
The Jonas Brothers performed this song at the [[2008 MTV Video Music Awards]], where they had confirmed that it would be the next single. The Jonas Brothers had stated that this song was "musically different" and that it was "a bit of a risk" for them, containing a tap dancing track and featuring a [[mandolin]]. The Jonas Brothers performed this song at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, where they had confirmed that it would be the next single. The Jonas Brothers had stated that this song was "musically different" and that it was "a bit of a risk" for them, containing a tap dancing track and featuring a mandolin.
