(14845) Hegel is an asteroid located in the outer main belt , which was discovered on November 3rd, 1988 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg ( observatory code 033) in the Tautenburg Forest in Thuringia .
The asteroid was named on July 26, 2000 after the German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831), who is considered the most important representative of German idealism and whose work is divided into the areas of “ logic ”, “ natural philosophy ” and “ philosophy of mind” “Structured.
