(181) Eucharis is an asteroid of the main outer asteroid belt discovered by Pablo Cottenot on February 2, 1878 . The heavenly body was named after Eucharis , a nymph from Greek mythology .

Eucharis moves at a distance of 2.51 ( perihelion ) to 3.76 ( aphelion ) astronomical units around the sun in 5.6 years . The orbit is inclined 18.8 ° to the ecliptic , the orbital eccentricity is 0.20.
