(2233) Kuznetsov ( 1972 XE 1 ; 1957 LL ; 1958 XA ; 1965 YC ; 1968 QF 1 ; 1973 AO 3 ; 1977 FS 2 ; 1979 XD ) is an asteroid of the main outer belt that was discovered on December 3, 1976 by the Ukrainian astronomer Lyudmyla Shuravlowa was discovered at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095).

(2233) Kuznetsov was named after Nikolai Ivanovich Kuznetsov (1911–1944), a hero of the Soviet Union and partisan in World War II .
