(3033) Holbaek is an asteroid located in the main inner belt . It was discovered on March 5, 1984 by Karl Augustesen , Poul Jensen and Hans Jørn Fogh Olsen at the Brorfelde Observatory in Denmark .
The planetoid was named in 1986 after the town of Holbæk , near which the Brorfelde observatory is located. The reason for this was that Holbæk celebrated the granting of the first trading privilege in 1986, 700 years ago.
