(4094) Aoshima is an asteroid of the main belt , of August 26, 1987 by the Japanese astronomers Minoru Kizawa and Watari Kakei at the observatory of Shizuoka ( IAU code 883) in the Shizuoka Prefecture was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the Japanese amateur astronomer and founder of the amateur astronomers from Shizuoka Society (Shizuoka City Amateur Astronomers' Society), Masaki Aoshima (1947-1987), named.
