(4155) Watanabe is a main belt asteroid discovered on October 25, 1987 by Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda from the observatory in Kushiro-shi .

The asteroid was named after the Japanese astronomer Kazurō Watanabe (* 1955).
