(4677) Hiroshi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 26 September 1990 by the Japanese amateur astronomers Atsushi Takahashi and Kazuro Watanabe at Kitami Observatory ( IAU code 400) in the prefecture of Hokkaido was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the Japanese astronomer Hiroshi Kaneda (* 1953), who together with his colleague Seiji Ueda discovered more than 700 asteroids.
