(4807) Noboru is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 10 January 1991 by Japanese amateur astronomer Takao Kobayashi at Oizumi Observatory ( IAU code 411) in Oizumi in Gunma Prefecture was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the well-known Japanese alpinist Noboru Yamada (1950–1989), who climbed nine of the world's fourteen eight-thousanders in twelve expeditions .
