Ángel Polivio Sánchez Loaiza
Ángel Polivio Sánchez Loaiza (born September 10, 1946 in Ayapamba ) is Bishop of Machala .
Life
Ángel Polibio Sánchez Loaiza was ordained a priest on August 3, 1975 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Guaranda on November 25, 2004 . He was ordained episcopate on December 18 of the same year by the Bishop of Machala , Néstor Rafael Herrera Heredia ; Co- consecrators were Jesús Ramón Martínez de Ezquerecocha Suso , Bishop of Babahoyo , and Raúl Eduardo Vela Chiriboga , Archbishop of Quito . The inauguration in his diocese followed on December 22nd of the same year.
On July 20, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Machala. He was inducted into office on September 14th of the same year.
