The Égrenne is a 37 km long river in the Normandy region in northern France .

course

The Égrenne rises just south of the town of Saint-Sauveur de Chaulieu in the municipality of Chaulieu and generally drains in a southeastern direction. It forms the border between the departments of Manche and Orne over long stretches . The Égrenne finally reaches the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park , initially follows its outer border and finally crosses it south. The river flows into the Varenne as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Saint-Mars-d'Égrenne and Torchamp in the Orne department .
