• Cup winner of the 2003/04 season was Basket Swans Gmunden in the final against UBC Stahlbau Oberwart Gunners .
• The company Superfund became the main sponsor of Kapfenberg and therefore the Kapfenberg Bears were renamed Superfund Bulls.
• The league was increased to 12 teams in the 2003/04 season.
