The steam locomotive series ÖNWB XIX were fast - locomotives of the Austrian Northwest Railway (ÖNWB).

Since the train weight of the express trains was constantly increasing, the ÖNWB had to buy more powerful express train locomotives. It should be type 2C machines . At the suggestion of the StEG locomotive factory , four machines each were built as three-cylinder and four-cylinder compound locomotives . All eight machines were delivered in 1904 . The four-cylinder variant was classified as the  XIX series.

All cylinders acted on the first axis. At 45 km / h an output of 1050 hp was measured. Despite their great success, the machines were not reordered because the superheated steam locomotives were superior to them.

After the nationalization of the ÖNWB in 1909, the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB) classified the four locomotives of the XIX series as the 209 series  .

After the First World War , all the machines came to ČSD as class  354.2 , which they converted into superheated steam twin locomotives of class 364.2 in the 1930s  . The ČSD series 354.3 was also converted into 364.2.
