The Luhačovický potok , on the upper reaches of Šťávnice, is a right and at the same time the largest tributary of the Olšava in the Czech Republic .
geography
The Luhačovický potok rises one and a half kilometers northwest of Loučka between the Doubrava ( 676 m ) and the Klokočí ( 622 m ) on the main ridge of the Vizovická vrchovina . The villages of Výpusta, Slopné , Sehradice , Dolní Lhota , Na Klenkově, Martincův Mlýn, Sedlářův Mlýn, Pražská čtvrť, Lázně Luhačovice, Luhačovice , Biskupice and Polichno lie on its course towards the southwest . At Újezdec the Luhačovický potok flows into the Olšava.
The Luhačovický potok has a length of 23.5 km, its catchment area is 143 km².
The Újezdec u Luhačovic – Luhačovice railway runs along the stream . Between Na Klenkově, Sedlářův Mlýn and Pozlovice , the stream has been dammed in the Luhačovice reservoir since 1930 . The lake serves both water management and recreation.
