action

The focus of the plot is the journey of the couple Fabian and Jana, who want to hitchhike to Italy . In a parking lot in the Alps , they are almost run over by a luxury off-road vehicle. The driver of the vehicle turns out to be an arrogant snob who also harasses the two of them. After he loses his vehicle key in the parking lot, Jana and Fabian steal the off-road vehicle in revenge and drive on. After a while they realize that the vehicle owner's very stoned -looking girlfriend is still on the back seat of the car, who slowly comes to and tries to force the couple to turn back if the owner's gun is unsafe to use.

In order to prevent this, Fabian successfully begins to appease the young woman by skillfully telling original and increasingly unrealistic stories, which increasingly mix with real experiences from his past and then also concern the getting to know the couple and their relationship with Jana. Increasingly, he loses control of his story and becomes more and more entangled in a fairy tale after Jana's previous perception of so many moments and circumstances was apparently completely different and it then annoys her too much. She insists on hearing the pure truth from Fabian, which is obviously difficult for him. Recurring cell phone calls from the vehicle owner are a problem.

The sometimes completely fantastic and then again realistic parts of Fabian's story often leave the viewer in the dark about what could be true or fictitious, and enabled Keil to wander through different film genres.

review

“A lovable Tunichgut tells us its story and stories, especially the love affairs and adventures in the end-of-time desert after the great virus attract attention. Director Norbert Keil, who previously attracted attention through original short films that were shown at the Fantasy Film Festival or before ' Scream 3 ', for example, quotes his way through the genre and relationship boxes in a likeable love story that just barely missed the theatrical release and despite its length adventurous romantics and film freaks will not be disappointed.
