(133552) Itting-Enke is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on October 16, 2003 at the Turtle Star Observatory ( observatory code 678) in Mülheim an der Ruhr .

The asteroid was named in 2006 in honor of the German amateur astronomer Sonja Itting-Enke (* 1930), who founded the Cuno Hoffmeister Memorial Observatory near Windhoek in Namibia , where she is dedicated to imparting astronomical knowledge to the population.
