(15788) 1993 SB is a Trans-Neptunian object of the Plutino class. Apart from Pluto , it was one of the first objects of its kind to be discovered, (385185) 1993 RO and 1993 RP were discovered only two and one day earlier, respectively. It was the first of these objects whose orbit was calculated well enough to warrant assigning a number. The discovery took place in 1993 at the Spanish La Palma observatory with an Isaac Newton telescope.
Very little is known about 1993 SB. Even the estimate of the 130 km diameter is based on the assumption of an albedo of 0.09.
