(2199) Klet ( 1978 LA ; 1928 QE ; 1941 HG ; 1948 MD ; 1975 RU ) is an asteroid of the main inner belt that was discovered on June 6, 1978 by the Czech astronomer Antonín Mrkos at the Kleť Observatory near Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic ( IAU code 046) was discovered.

(2199) Klet was named after the Kleť observatory, the place where it was discovered and the Kleť mountain on which the observatory is located.
