(2883) Barabashov is an asteroid of the Main Belt . It was discovered on September 13, 1978 by the Russian astronomer N. S. Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj , Ukrainian SSR ( IAU code 095).
The asteroid was named after the Ukrainian - Soviet astronomer Mykola Barabaschow .
