(29613) Charlespicard is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 16 September 1998 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid was named on January 28, 2002 after the French mathematician Charles Émile Picard (1856-1941), who mainly dealt with function theory , analysis , algebra and geometry and who became famous for the Picardian theorem named after him .
