(3041) Webb is a asteroid of the main belt , which on 15 April 1980 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.

The celestial body belongs to the Eunomia family, a group named after (15) Eunomia , to which probably five percent of the asteroids in the main belt belong.

The asteroid was named after the Australian clergyman and amateur astronomer Thomas William Webb (1807-1885), who was best known as the author of the 1859 observation guide Celestial Objects for Common Telescopes .
