(33750) Davehiggins is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 6 September 1999 by the American US amateur astronomer Charles W. Juel at Fountain Hills Observatory ( observatory code in 678) Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid was named on November 26, 2004 after the Australian economic analyst and amateur astronomer David J. Higgins (* 1961), who runs the Hunters Hill Observatory in Canberra .
