(35725) Tramuntana is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 27 March 1999 by the Spanish astronomers Ángel López Jiménez and Rafael Pacheco at the Planetarium Mallorca ( IAU code 620) in Costitx on the Balearic -Insel Mallorca was discovered.
It was named on August 6, 2003 after the Serra de Tramuntana , a mountain range in the northwest of Mallorca. At the same time, the term describes the Tramuntana , a cold, often gusty wind from the north.
