(4159) Freeman is a main belt asteroid discovered on April 5, 1989 by Eleanor Helin at the Palomar Observatory . The asteroid has a relatively bright surface with an albedo of around 0.28.
The asteroid was named after Ann Freeman , the executive secretary of the Seismological Laboratory at Caltech .
