(49448) Macocha is an asteroid located in the main belt , which was discovered on December 21, 1998 by the Czech astronomer P. Pravec at the Ondřejov observatory ( IAU code 557) on the Manda mountain in Ondřejov south of Prague . It was named on March 18, 2003 after the collapse of Doline Macocha in the Moravian Karst .
