(5014) Gorchakov is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 19 September 1974 by the Russian astronomer Lyudmila Ivanovna Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory ( IAU code was discovered 095).

The asteroid was named on August 8, 1998 after the Russian diplomat and Foreign Minister Alexander Mikhailovich Gorchakov .
