(635) Vundtia is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on June 9, 1907 by the German astronomer Karl Julius Lohnert (1885–1944) in Heidelberg .
The asteroid was named after the German psychologist Wilhelm Wundt , with whom Karl Lohnert did his doctorate. Lohnert had to assert himself against the naming rules for asteroids, for which only female first names were allowed.
