(7414) Bosch is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 13, 1990 by the German astronomers Lutz D. Schmadel and Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).

The asteroid was named on April 2, 1999 after the German chemist and industrialist Carl Bosch (1874-1940), whose private interest was in astronomy and who supported the State Observatory Heidelberg-Königstuhl and the Astronomical Society .
