The 1st amateur league North Baden 1970/71 was the 21st season of the  1st amateur  soccer league in North Baden - the forerunner of today's  Baden Association League . The North Baden amateur champion was last year's relegated SV Waldhof Mannheim , who finished the promotion round to Regionalliga Süd level on points with SpVgg Ludwigsburg and FC Singen 04 with first place. In the first playoff they could defeat Singen 5: 3 on n. E., but in the decisive game against Ludwigsburg it was a 1: 2 defeat and thus they remained third class. The FV Hockenheim , the 1. FC Birkenfeld and Germania Brötzingen had to descend to the 2nd Amateur League. For the following season 1971/72 came from the 2nd amateur league the promoted FG Rüppurr , Phoenix Mannheim and FC Victoria Bammental and from the Regionalliga relegated VfR Mannheim .
