154th Reserve Division (Wehrmacht)

The 154th Reserve Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on September 15, 1942 and stationed in the city of Landshut in the southern Generalgouvernement of Poland . In the late summer of 1944, the division was deployed in the Ukraine and heavily decimated during heavy fighting. As a result, the division was refreshed on October 1, 1944, reorganized and renamed the 154th field training division .
