2. German Volleyball Bundesliga 1978/79 (men)

The 1978/79 season of the men's 2nd volleyball division was the fifth edition of this competition.

2nd Bundesliga North

VfL Lintorf became champions and promoted to the 1st Bundesliga . TuS Bersenbrück, SV Münster 91 and TuS Wunstorf had to get off.
