The 3-hour race of Monza , also Monza Grand Touring Grand Prix Lotteria, Monza 3 Hours , was a GT race that took place on June 29, 1963 in Monza . At the same time, the race was the 11th round of the sports car world championship this year.

The race

The 3-hour race in Monza was one of the GT races in the 1 and 0.7-liter displacement classes that was held as part of the World Sports Car Championship. Only Abarth racing cars were at the start and, apart from the Swiss Jacques Calderari, only Italian drivers. The race ended after 84 laps with a victory for Abarth works driver Romano Perdomi .
