1963 Daytona 3 hour race
The 1963 Daytona 3-Hour Race , also known as the Second Annual Daytona Continental 3-Hour Grand Touring Road Race, Daytona International Speedway , took place on February 17 at Daytona International Speedway and was the first race of the World Sports Car Championship that year.
The race
As in 1962 , the World Sports Car Championship began in 1963 with the Daytona 3-hour race . The race was one of the GT standings of the World Cup and was designed by Pedro Rodríguez on the North American Racing Team reported Ferrari 250 GTO won.
