The 1936–37 season was the eleventh regular season of the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Minneapolis Millers became champions .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Oklahoma City / Minneapolis Warriors stopped gaming.
- The Minneapolis Millers returned to the AHA after five years.
mode
In the regular season, the six teams played 48 games each. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs. These were held in the best-of-five mode. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
