The APOprojekt GmbH is a 2007 by Hendrik von Paepcke and Alexander Knälmann in Hamburg based company that has specialized as a general contractor on the interior design of office space. In the 2018 financial year, the company generated construction work amounting to EUR 200 million and employed 350 people in Germany.
Business activity
APOprojekt plans and expands office space as general contractor . Most of the projects that have been implemented are located in existing buildings. The entire planning including the technical building equipment (TGA / supply technology ) is usually carried out by APOprojekt itself. The construction work necessary for the realization of the construction projects is outsourced to subcontractors and controlled by their own project management teams.
In addition to the pure interior design, large-scale projects are also carried out, some of which also include building construction and facade work. In order to support the customers in the letting of "aging" buildings, the product "Development Concepts" was developed, in which one considers office buildings more holistically and also considers economic aspects of the owners. To this end, the company has expanded its team, which previously consisted primarily of architects and engineers, to include real estate experts.
Since 2016, the company has been working intensively on the needs of coworking providers such as B. WeWork and realized numerous objects for them.
