The young Gregor lives with his sister Maria and his father in Sankt Peter in Baden-Württemberg. The father has a farm there and Gregor is supposed to take over his business later. But he has other dreams, because he wants to open a gas station on the federal highway. In order to be able to realize this dream, he depends on the financial support of his father, who under certain conditions even gets involved and respects the wishes of his only son. But the father's condition puts the siblings Gregor and Maria before an acid test.
