Aaron John Royle (born January 26, 1990 in Newcastle ) is an Australian duathlete and triathlete . He is the U23 world triathlon champion (2012).

Career

Aaron Royle was an active swimmer in his youth and he started triathlon at the age of 14.
In October 2012 he became the U23 triathlon world champion in New Zealand.

In France, Royle competes in the Grand Prix de Triathlon championship series for the Baie de Somme Triathlon club .

2016 Summer Olympics

Aaron Royle qualified for a place in the 2016 Summer Olympics and finished ninth as the best Australian on August 18 in Rio de Janeiro.
